Description

The Development Coordinator will serve as the administrator for our donor database Raisers Edge, and will also provide administrative support around our Comprehensive Campaign. Reporting to the Director of Database Administration (database) and Chief Development Officer (campaign duties), this position will work collaboratively within the development department, ensuring that Glenwood Academy continues our historic longevity to change the lives of those who need us the most.

Fundraising Administration:

  • Collaborate in maintaining a robust and accurate database, including data entry, gift processing, acknowledgment process, mailing lists, statistical reports, and analysis.
  • Assists with prospect research and helps maintain all individual and organizational records, inputting and updating biographical, geographical, professional, financial, and other information.
  • In-kind donation management and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assists with Development Office tasks, reporting, events, and other tasks as needed.

Campaign & Board Support:

  • Coordinate all meetings of the Board of Directors and Committees, including but not limited to, venue, food, beverage, print materials/packets, technology, remote access, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Facilitate creation with multiple stakeholders and distribution of meeting packets by the deadlines and take minutes for all Board and Committee meetings.
  • Support donor and other external relation events.

Qualifications

Requirement

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience, preferably with nonprofits
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Experience working in Raisers Edge is a plus, some CRM experience required
  • Highly organized, multi-tasker, and problem-solver
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data and/or willing to take additional training in Excel or other productivity tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Commits to maintaining strict confidentiality in regard to all files and personnel that they come in contact with during this role
