Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client concerns, changes, and questions, resolving issues as needed.
  • Support binding of coverage, policy issuance, and service needs throughout the policy term.
  • Process new and renewal business per agency standards.
  • Review and process policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with claim filing and resolving billing inquiries.
  • Join client meetings to support service needs and enhance retention.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and continuously seek service improvements.
  • If no specific territory is assigned, provide general support by answering phones, processing renewals, audits, endorsements, and billing issues.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Overtime as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities are the requirements or minimum qualifications needed to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job successfully.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Previous Property & Casualty insurance experience, preferred
  • Previous experience working in commercial lines in a Property & Casualty agency, preferred
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with Windows based software and experience with a Customer Relationship Management System, preferred
  • Highly skilled in personal relationship building to foster and build a strong trust relationship between GuideStone and its Property & Casualty prospects and clients
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to verbalize clearly and succinctly, to listen effectively, and to write professionally.
  • Personal attributes should include creativity, organization skills, enthusiasm, and motivation with a strong work ethic.
  • Willing to obtain a Property & Casualty license in state of residence and have the ability to be Property & Casualty licensed in additional states as required.
  • Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
